Aberdeen's city council is made up of 12 elected members representing six geographic wards, with two council positions assigned to each ward. The council holds all legislative and policy-making authority under the city's mayor-council form of government, while the mayor holds administrative authority and veto power.

Rajcich (Ward 2, Position 4), Kevin Moynihan (Ward 3, Position 5), Carrie Hubbard (Ward 4, Position 7), Joshua Francy (Ward 5, Position 10), and John Shaw (Ward 6, Position 11), all serving through December 31, 2029.

Those members are Melvin Taylor (Ward 1), David Gakin (Ward 2), Scott Prato (Ward 3), Deb Hodgkin (Ward 4), Michele Nipper (Ward 5), and Sydney Swor (Ward 6).
