The Aberdeen Police Department employs 38 commissioned officers and 17 civilian staff members to serve the city's approximately 17,000 residents, according to the department's official website. The department provides 24-hour police services and responds to nearly 26,000 incidents per year.
The department also books approximately 1,900 inmates annually into its in-house jail facility located at 210 E. Market St. The Records office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
