Grays Harbor PUD Holds 2026 Budget With No Rate Increase

Grays Harbor Public Utility District approved its 2026 budget without raising rates for customers, the utility announced November 17, 2025. The decision means electricity customers will not see higher bills heading into the new year.

PUD commissioners credited planning and focus as key factors in avoiding a rate increase, according to a December 2025 Commissioners Corner entry titled "Planning, Focus Allow PUD to Avoid Rate Increase."

The rate decision came during what PUD General Manager described as the utility's 85th year, calling it "one of change and accomplishments" in a December 2025 manager message. The utility also announced it is seeking public information on energy costs and clean energy implementation planning, signaling future rate discussions may be on the horizon.
