I-405, I-5, and SR 20 Closures Continue Through Sept. 4

Multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects will continue lane closures and detours on Aberdeen-area highways through Friday, Sept. 4, 2026.

I-405 will see overnight closures of up to two southbound lanes from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast, and up to four northbound lanes from milepost 11.5 to 13.7, each nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. I-5 will have single-lane reductions nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) for fish passage construction. State Route 20 will alternate traffic with flaggers daily from Swin Slough Bridge to Laconner Whitney Road/Bay View Road for city utility work.
