πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

WSDOT announced ongoing construction on SR 109, I-5, and SR 6 affecting Aberdeen-area travelers. Temporary traffic lights and single-lane alternating traffic will continue around the clock on SR 109 near Moclips and Taholah through December 31, 2026, with speed limits reduced to 25 mph.

Crews will install bridge support beams on SR 109 on September 15, causing up to 45-minute closures. Tree trimming on westbound SR 6 between Rainbow Falls and Hope Creek Road will continue through September 30, with single-lane traffic from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. I-5 will have overnight lane closures from September 10-25 for paving, and a southbound lane closure on September 21 for guardrail repairs. A water main replacement on SR 6 near Clinton Road will run through October 12 with flagger-directed traffic.

Drivers should plan for delays, slow down, and move over for crews. The fish barrier removal project on SR 109 is scheduled to end December 31, 2026, while other projects wrap up between September and October 2026.
