State Route 99 tunnel will close both directions for maintenance from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, to 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. Northbound SR 99 will close just north of South Spokane Street (milepost 29), and southbound SR 99 will close just south of Raye Street (milepost 34).

Southbound SR 99 will exit at Harrison Street off-ramp, and northbound SR 99 will exit at Alaskan Way South. The Royal Brougham Way/Colorado Avenue South on-ramp and Sixth Avenue North on-ramp will also close.

The closure is part of routine maintenance and will impact commuters traveling through Aberdeen. Detour routes will be posted for travelers.
