US 101 Paving Begins Monday in Aberdeen Area

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Starting Monday, Sept. 21, US 101 between New London and Axford will see mobile paving operations from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, according to WSDOT. Drivers should add 15 minutes to trips for pilot car operations between Ocean Beach Road and East Humptulips Road.

The work, scheduled to end Oct. 2, may be canceled for rainy weather. WSDOT advises travelers to plan ahead for delays. The project is part of ongoing road maintenance on the highway.

SR 109 near Moclips and Taholah also has ongoing traffic control with reduced speed limits and alternating lanes through December, but the US 101 work is the latest change affecting Aberdeen-area drivers.
