Westport Marina Summer Updates Include Rate Hike and Safety Reminders

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Westport Marina is preparing for summer with updated rules and a rate increase, effective July 1, 2026. Moorage rates will rise from $4. 44 to $4. 44 per foot per month (including tax), marking the first adjustment in 30 years. The increase will phase in over three years and includes new requirements for working vessels to provide proof of classification.

Dock clean-up reminders are also in effect, with Marina rules requiring all gear, chairs, and totes to be removed from stalls. Items left in violation will be tagged and removed. Safety reminders include leashing dogs, no feeding sea lions, and prohibiting bikes on docks. The Marina Tariff, available online, outlines all rules and rates.

Summer projects will include maintenance and improvements to marina facilities. The Port of Grays Harbor also promoted commercial properties for lease in Westport, including 1. 75, 3, and 7-acre parcels. Fishermen Fridays will continue with free coffee and donuts for boaters.
